How much is the kit?

 

The kit normally costs $169, but for our partners, we offer an exclusive 10% discount.


 

Why does the kit cost that much?

We are a minority owned organization whose mission is to ‘educate and inspire’ with educational 

films. Our number one goal is to share "The Come Up" and its inspiring message on Overcoming Adversity, Entrepreneurship, and Obeying the Law. Proceeds from the Screening Kit fee go towards Art Programs in Inner City Hubzones and other costs associated with our outreach efforts to share the film’s message.



 

What is in the Screening Kit?


The Screening Kit includes everything you need to host a successful event for your members:

What is in the Discussion Guide?


 

The discussion guide provides screening hosts with talking points for leading a substantive 

discussion on Overcoming Adversity and other themes addressed in the film. It also includes a simple how-to guide on hosting a screening, and additional resources that our hosts have found invaluable when using the film to create a positive and well attended event.

 


 

What does the license allow?



 

The license allows for unlimited screenings at one facility. A kit must be purchased for each 

location it is screened. If you have multiple facilities in mind, we can often provide a deeper 

discount. I can have the producer of the film speak to you about that.



 

We don’t know how to plan events


 

The discussion guide provides screening hosts with a simple how-to guide on hosting a screening, 

and additional resources that our hosts have found invaluable when using the film to create a 

positive and well attended event. Many of our hosts include the film in annual meetings or 

community events that are already taking place.



 

What does a partner have to do?


 

We ask that our partners share the opportunity to screen "The Come Up" with their members

Our partners have successfully shared the opportunity to host a screening with their members

How big are community events typically?


 

Attendance for events varies based on how the screening hosts choose to promote it. Large events 

have over 200 audience members and more intimate ones have 50 to 75.
